The public is being asked for their help in tracking down those responsible for a burglary at a shop in the village of Golden this morning.
A large quantity of cigarettes was stolen when five masked individuals broke into the local Spar shop in the early hours of this morning.
The raid is understood to have occurred at around 12.30am.
A sledgehammer was used to gain access to the premises.
The raiders made their getaway towards the Cashel direction, in what is believed to be a red hatchback car.
The public is being asked to contact Tipperary town gardai with any information they may have, or to report any suspicious activity they may have seen in the area recently.
