The Excel Centre in Tipperary has been allocated €25,000 in funding from the Arts Council today.
The money comes from a fund being distributed by the council across the country to local organisations already planning festivals, music, dance, and exhibitions.
Organisations in Co Tipperary are to receive a total of over 160,000. Sharing in the windfall is the Clonmel Junction Festival which gets €90,000 and the Source Arts Centre in Thurles which is being allocated €50,000.
Tipperary County Council will also receive a grant of over €140,000 for its art services.
