Today, the participants in a Consultative Selling programme have graduated after completing the eight week course.
The course is the result of a collaboration between the Department of Social Protection, South Tipperary Development Company and DSM (Direct Sales Management) which is located at Rossmore Village.
Nationally, there is a shortage of peoplle to fill the roles available in the area of sales, especially in the Call Centre sector.
As a result the DSP, STDC, and DSM set up Fetac level 6 course on Consultative Selling.
Participants were permitted to hold on to their social welfare payments for the duration of the course.
Those who completed it have an enhanced chance of securing full time work at DSM.
