Gardai in Clonmel have arrested a man in connection with a fatal road traffic collision in the area on Tuesday.
A 28 year-old man, who was the front seat passenger of the car involved in the single vehicle crash, died when the car hit a ditch at Rathronan at 1.20am that morning.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the car, a 20 year-old man, was taken to South Tipperary General Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Today, a 20 year-old man was arrested by gardai and he is currently being held at Clonmel garda station.
