Gardai are investigating an incident in which a firearm was discharged in Killenaule.
According to Gardai, the shot was fired at around 11.30 pm last night.
Nobody was injured during the incident and nobody was arrested in connection with it.
Gardai are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the occurance.
