A 47 year old father of six found dead in a drain on a bog in Co Offaly yeaterday morning was shot dead.
The post mortem carried out on Christy Daly by State Pathologist Dr Marie Cassidy last night revealed that he was shot dead several times in the body.
Gardai today officially upgraded their investigation to one of murder.
