Disease killing ash trees

Co Tipperary has been identified as one of the counties where a disease which is killing ash trees is being identified.

 

The news comes as the Department of Agriculture confirmed that there have been 46 cases of ash dieback in the country.

The disease which is known as Chalara Fraxinea and has been identified in other counties including Carlow, Cavan Clare, Galway and Waterford among others
