A fund of €200,000 has been established by the government aimed at stimulating start up businesses in the South East

The Competetive Feasibility Fund for the South East will be run on a pilot basis, with funding of up to €25,000 to be provided to innovative local companies with job creating potential.

Companies in the ICT, Industrial and Food sectors based in South Tipperary, Waterford, Wexford, Carlow & Kilkenny will be eligible to apply.

The closing date for applications for the South East fund is 30th January 2012 and it’s expected the first awards will be made shortly after that.
