Employers are being advised to adopt a gradual process when bringing employees back to their workplace following the easing of restrictions.
The new government guidelines advise consultation with worker representatives, permanent hybrid working arrangements and supports for employees nervous about the returning to the office.
The advice also notes that the pandemic is not over and the emergence of new variants with increased levels of transmissibility, immune escape remains a risk both nationally and globally.
The document states that observing physical distance continues to be good practice.
The government says it’s advisable to continue to use face masks.
