€10,000 development funding scheme was launched yesterday at Ballingarrane House outside Clonmel.
Launched by Minister Tom Hayes the scheme, called Siolta is aimed at new or emerging businesses in the food or agri-development sector.
One emerging business or viable proposal will win the entire €10,000 package which is expected to be announced in April.
Application forms can be accessed on the websites clonmel.ie and southtippcoco.ie from this weekend onwards.
The scheme is funded jointly by the Clonmel Show Society and South Tipperary County Council. The closing date is Feb 28th
