A visitor attraction in Cashel is to feature on RTE’s TV show Ireland’s Hidden treasures. Cashel folk Museum will be profiled on Sunday April 28th at 6.30pm Bernard Minogue, the head curator of the Cashel Folk Museum will feature in the programme.  Mr Minogue was born in Rock Cottage, the Rock of Cashel care-taker’s house. His father was the care-taker of the Rock and Bernard grew up playing amongst the ruins.

Cashel Folk Village, was Built by Bernard’s father-in-law, Martin O’Dwyer Bob. The Village offers visitors a unique experience of a collection of small museums combined allowing visitors to see items such as the Croke Memorial Cross and one of the only Blueshirt uniforms on display in Ireland today.
