Tipperary town Tidy Towns Group is to hold an “open” meeting on Tuesday night and Chairperson Paul O’Callaghan is hoping for a large turnout.
The meeting is to get an update on the Tipperary town Energy plan which is to be formally launched on January 18th at the Tipperary Excel Centre.
The Tidy Towns Group had supported the application for funding for the project.
In addition the Tidy Towns meeting will try to develop fundraising plans for the coming year, consider Grant Applications to Pobal and the Tipperary County Council Festival Grants Scheme, receive a report on 25 new anti litter signs recently installed and a report on TUS workers for the group – as of the end of 2023 the group benefited from having 4 TUS workers.
The meeting will be held in the Porterhouse at Bank place starting at 7pm on Tuesday evening.
