Uisce Eireann Apologies For Pump Failure Which Lead To Water Outage In West Tipp

Uisce Eireann is apologising for an outage overnight in Tipperary town caused as a result of a pump failure at Lisnagaul.

The plant operation was restored overnight and full flow was restored this morning at approximately 7am and normal water pressure is currently being restored to the town’s network.

The company says the issue is fixed and recommends that residents/busineses allow 2-3 hours after the estimated restoration time for supply to fully return.

Uisce Eireann can be contacted by telephoning 1 800 278 278 and updates are available on the service and supply section of the water.ie website.
