Widespread tributes to P.J. Mara R.I.P.

The former government press secretary PJ Mara has died aged 73.
 
Mara was well known for his work with Fianna Fáil – including managing the party to three general election victories.
 
He joined Fianna Fail as its press secretary in 1983 – and after four years work helped guide the party back into power in 87, then becoming government press secretary.
 
He was well regarded and well liked on all sides.
