Carrick-on-Suir (Irish: Carraig na Siúire, meaning “rock of the Suir”) is a town in County Tipperary. It lies on both banks of the River Suir.

The town is situated in the south-eastern corner of South Tipperary, 21 km east of Clonmel and 27 km northwest of Waterford. Most of the town lies north of the river in the townland of Carrig Mór (Big Rock), with the remainder of the town on the opposite bank in the townland of Carrig Beg (Small Rock).
