Tipp GAA Fans Advised To Have Their Travel Plans In Place Ahead Of Weekend Fixtures

Tipperary GAA fans planning to attend Croke Park on Sunday to support the Senior Camogie and Hurling teams are advised to make sure they have their travel plans in place.

Cotter Coaches have seats available on a coach leaving Semple Stadium near Bothar Na Naomh Church on Sunday morning at 9.30am – call 062 67147.

All early morning trains are sold out with some limited tickets left for the 1.44pm departing Limerick Junction arriving in Heuston Station at 3pm – an hour before throw in for the Hurling match.

Kilkenny provide the opposition in both matches – at 1.30pm in the All Ireland Camogie Quarterfinal and at 4pm the Senior Hurling Semi-final.

Hurling Manager Liam Cahill has named his match day panel and starting 15.  West Tipperary is represented by Robert Doyle (Clonoulty Rossmore) and Eoghan O’Donoghue(Cashel King Cormacs) in the full back line and by Oisin O’Donoghue(Cashel King Cormacs) and Johnny Ryan(Arravale Rovers) in the match day squad. The game will be broadcast on multiple radio stations and on RTE2 and on the RTE Player.

On Saturday Cork will play Dublin in the other Hurling Semi-final at 5pm in Croke Park preceded by the Waterford V Clare in the other Camogie Quarter Final with Cork and Galway already through to the semi-finals.

Tipperary Ladies Gaelic Football team must line out at 5.15pm in Navan on Sunday to take on Meath in an All Ireland Quarter final. Some of the Meath players are dual players and as they had a camogie fixture on July 5th the Football Quarterfinal had to be fixed for July 6th
