ESB Networks is advising customers in the Blind Street and St Michael’s Street area of Tipperary town of planned maintenance work next week.

Affected customers were given a notification last week that electricity supplies will be disrupted on Tuesday July 8th to allow essential maintenance work.

Kylecourt Medical Centre GP offices, Blind Street, will be closed all day Tuesday between 9am and 6pm due the outage. Kylecourt Pharmacy, also on Blind Street, will be closed on Tuesday but customers are being invited to visit their sister store Crosses Pharmacy on Main street to obtain any medicines that are required.  The Arch Hair Salon on Blind street will also be closed on Tuesday as will the Tipperary Curtain Shop and Bohemian Girl on St Michael’s Street.

Tipperary Community Services Centre, the Mustard Seed Café, the Meals on Wheels Service and Tipp Mid West Radio are securing generators to ensure that their services will continue as normal during the maintenance work.

ESB Networks can be contacted by calling 1 800 372 999 and details of the planned maintenance work will be shared on the powercheck.ie website.
