Customers will have one more week to visit Daverns in Cashel. The store is extending it’s retirement sale until Saturday July 5th.

The family run business is operated by Raymond Davern who announced earlier this year that he will retire this year.  The business has been in operation for 99 years – starting in Tipperary town and moving to Cashel in 1926.

Located on Main Street(since 1964) in the heart of Cashel the store sells ladies and gents clothing.

Mr Davern intends to spend time traveling with his wife Carmel especially in Ireland with his new found leisure time. The couple are expressing gratitude to their loyal customers and are delighted to be able to meet many since the announcement to say farewell. The couple’s four children have all chosen careers other than the family business.
