Parts Of Tipperary Town Without Water Following Mains Pipe Burst In Pearse Park

Parts of Tipperary town are without water this morning.

Cllr Anne Marie Ryan reports that a mains pipe has burst in the Pearse Park area which may be responsible for the outage in areas such as Knockanrawley and St Michael’s Street.

The Community Services Centre will be closed to the public today as the toilets cannot operate without water. The Centre will continue to provide Meals via the Meals and Wheels service and a takeaway service will be available.

The Citizens Information office and INTREO offices are also closed at the Community Centre today due to the water outage.

TMWR has sought an update from Uisce Eireann as to when the supply may be restored.Uisce Eireann can be contacted by calling 1 800 278 278 and updates will be posted on the Water.ie website under the Service and Supply Section. As of 9am there is no mention of the outage.
