Fixture Clashes Following The Success Of The Tipperary Senior Hurling Team

The success of the Tipperary Senior Hurling Team in 2025 is causing some fixture clashes.

The Cut Loose Music Festival is moving to Sunday August 24th. The All Ireland Final is set for July 20th and if Tipperary qualify by defeating Kilkenny on July 6th the Music Festival would clash with the All-Ireland final as it is also set for July 20th.

Tickets already purchased will be valid for the new date with the advertised line up including Louise Morrissey, Derek Ryan, Declan Nerney & Una Healy and Claudia Buckley confirmed for the new date.

Clonmel Show is set for July 6th – gates will open at 10am which should give patrons time to attend before the Tipperary Kilkenny match at 4pm unless they are traveling to the match.

Tipperary senior camogie team are through to an All-Ireland Senior Quarter final on Sunday July 6th fixed for Croke Park before the Tipperary Kilkenny Hurling match.However the Tipperary Senior Ladies football team are scheduled to play Meath in an All-Ireland Quarter Final in Navan also on Sunday July 6th at 5.15pm. Tipperary TD Michael Lowry is calling for the match to be moved to Saturday July 5th to avoid the clash – the other three quarter finals are scheduled for the Saturday. It is the first time in over 40 years that the Tipperary Ladies Gaelic Football  team have progressed to the quarter finals.
