Tipperary Senior Hurling Team Must Win Tomorrows All Ireland Quarter Final Against Galway

It’s win on Saturday or the season is over for the Tipperary Senior Hurling Team.

The Tipperary Senior hurling team for tomorrow evening’s All Ireland Quarter final will include two West Tipperary players in the starting 15 and two others in the match day panel. Robert Doyle from Clonoulty Rossmore and Eoghan Connolly from Cashel King Cormacs will start while Oisin O’Donoghue from Cashel King Cormacs and Johnny Ryan from Arravale Rovers are in the match day squad.

Manager Liam Cahill retains Moycarkey Borris’ Rhys Shelly in goal for the all-important puck out delivery as well as his defensive skills.  Captain Ronan Maher from Thurles Sarsfields is partnered in the half back line by Craig Morgan and Bryan O’Meara.

The match at the TUS Gaelic grounds in Limerick against Galway is a knock out game and will throw in at 6.15pm with Sean Stack to referee the game. Limerick will take on Dublin at 4pm on Saturday in Croke Park with Liam Gordon taking charge. RTE will broadcast both games on television. The two winners on Saturday will progress to the All Ireland Hurling Semi-finals against Cork and Kilkenny.
