Public representatives in Tipperary are welcoming Funding of €240,984 to be shared amongst 357 groups under the Rural and Community Development Local Enhancement Programme for 2025.
The funding can be used to enhance facilities, cover operational costs, or to launch small but impactful local projects.
The types of groups receiving support are wide-ranging and include Tidy Towns groups, Men’s Sheds to sports clubs, and voluntary services.
The Grants awarded today range in value from €180 to Rossadrehid Tidy Villages up to €1,750 for Borrisokane Community Sports Ground.
Knockavilla Kickhams Donaskeigh GAA club also secured an allocation of €1,750 with the Knockavilla Kickhams Camogie Club securing €753. Aherlow Failte secured €1,100, Aherlow Kilross Community Council is allocated €1,745 while Annacarty Tea Rooms receives €1,200.
