A new shop including a deli and fuel station is to open in Boherlahan village on Wednesday June 11th. The multi-faceted outlet will be known as “Maher’s of Boherlahan” and will feature the MACE and Applegreen Brands with Insomnia Coffee.
The store will open at 6.30am on Wednesday with the Deli Food Counter to open at 7am. For the coming weeks business hours will be from 6.30am to 10pm with slightly shorter hours of business at the weekends.
The business will include a fuel station with 24-hour service for diesel sales, solid fuel, an office licence, an ATM and a car wash service are also included – however the car wash service will not be operational until later this Summer.
The new business will employ 8 full time staff and 8 part time staff at present – Oliva Kennedy is the Store Manager and Nicola Gleeson will run the Deli operations.
The store offers ample parking to the side of the building with a side entrance to the building available. The 24 parking spaces can also be used for events in the Community Hall, the Church and the GAA grounds.
The new business is being developed by local man Liam Maher and his partner Santina Coyle and is greatly welcomed by the local community.
