Two of the three men arrested in a Garda operation targeting burglaries and thefts in the county have been remanded in custody following an appearance before Nenagh District Court yesterday charged with multiple counts of burglary.
The third man arrested during raids last Tuesday has been released without charge and a file is to be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
The men in custody are understood to live in Cashel and Tipperary town – the Garda operation was targeting an organised crime gang suspected of being involved in a number of thefts and burglaries between January 2023 and March 2024.
Both men are now detained in Cloverhill prison and will appear before the courts again on Monday June 9th.
