Tipperary County Council is to host a Civic Reception for Irish Olympian Rower Daire Lynch from Clonmel this evening.
The public are invited to watch the event live on the Tipperary County Council Facebook page.
Daire Lynch won a Bronze medal at last year’s Paris Olympics with rowing partner Philip Doyle in the Double Skulls event.
Tipperary County Council says Daire’s “dedication, perseverance and sporting excellence have not only brought pride to the community, but have also inspired young athletes across County Tipperary.”
The event which begins at 7pm is being held at Bru Boru Cashel and will be presented by Paul Collins and facilitated by Ballywire Media.
