The village of Boherlahan is counting down the days until a new Mace outlet opens with June 11th the planned opening day.
The shop is being developed by local man Liam Maher and partner Santina Coyle and will be a partnership involving MACE and Applegreen with a fuel station part of the offering. The new store will offer a fresh food deli, two coffee machines, an ATM, an off licence, a car wash and a wide range of convenience goods. The location had previously hosted O’Dwyer’s shop and has been extensively renovated and expanded.
The new business will create between 15 and 20 jobs in the West Tipperary village. The shop will be in the heart of the village beside the parish hall and ideally situated on the road that links Thurles and Cashel.
