Three men have been arrested as part of a Garda investigation into thefts and burglaries that occurred in the county between January 2023 and March 2024.
Gardaí from Tipperary Town, Thurles, Clonmel and Cahir Garda Stations carried out a search and arrest operation yesterday targeting an organised crime group suspected of being involved in a number of thefts and burglaries.
The three men in custody are understood to be aged in their 30s and 40s respectively. They are currently being detained under the provisions of Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act, 2007.
A domestic residence was also searched and a number of items have been recovered, including tools and gardening equipment including strimmers, chainsaws and power tools. Gardaí have not released the location for this residence as of now
Garda say their investigations are ongoing.
