Minister Jerry Buttimer, Minister of State at the Department of Rural and Community Development, with responsibility for Community Development, Charities and Rural Transport is to visit Tipperary town tomorrow afternoon to view projects funded by LEADER and supported by the South Tipperary Development Company.
The trip will include visits to the Community Services Centre on St Michael’s Street, Tipp Mid-West Radio, Ryan’s Bakery and Knockanrawley Resource Centre and presentations from the Managers at Knockanrawley Resource Centre, the Community Services Centre and the Tipperary Revitalisation Task Force about the many projects and services LEADER funding has enabled to date. The Tipp Town One Voice Choir Group will perform for the Minister and guests including PJ Maher the Chairperson of the South Tipperary Development Company.
Due to preparations in advance of the visit the Mustard Seed Restaurant in the Community Services Centre will close slightly earlier than usual at 12.15pm on Thursday.
Morning Service for teas/coffees, early lunch and outside catering including Meals and Wheels will be available as normal.
