Department Of Education Is Allocating €2.5M to Schools In Tipperary

The Department of Education is allocating €2.5M to schools in Tipperary for minor building works and information technology funding. €1.2m will  towards minor building works and €1.3m towards ICT and digital equipment and infrastructure according to Deputy Michael Murphy.

Deputy Murphy says the allocation will help ensure that Tipperary schools and their students, continue to be supported. Under the Minor Works Scheme each school can put forward an application for building works such as windows, doors, toilets, landscaping work etc. that is a priority for their school.

Minister for Education and Youth, Helen McEntee, announced the 2025 allocation as part of a national investment of €65 million in schools right across the country.
