The Aherlow Failte Society is inviting participants for a Floral Show to be held in Clonbeg Church in the Glen of Aherlow over the weekend of July 19th and 20th.
The Society is making a public call for Florists and Gardeners to take part and to demonstrate the colour and vitality from their gardens in the historic Clonbeg Church built by the Massey family in the 1830s. The organisers say blossoms will complement the colours of the unique Stain Glass Windows of the Church with a focus on the celebration of the local Holy Wells. St. Senan’s well is located in the grounds of the Memorial Church.
