The general public and affected land and home owners are invited to attend the display of the final route option for the N24 Cahir to Limerick Junction & Oola Transport Project from 1pm today. The plans will be on display at the Great National Hotel in Ballykisteen until 8pm this evening and again tomorrow from 10am to 8pm. Staff from the Mid West Roads Design office and designers ARUP Consulting will be on hand to answer questions. The plans will also be on display in the Council office in Tipperary town, in Cappamore and Cahir Libraries and on the Tipperary County Council Website. Design update drawings for the Project will also be available to view on the project website www.n24cahirlimerick.ie from 1pm today.

The project is to deliver by passes for Bansha, Tipperary town, Limerick Junction, Monard and Oola.  Since the last update in October 2024, the design team have further developed the design of the active travel and road components of the Preferred Transport Solution to take account of results from site surveys (including geotechnical investigations, topographical surveys and environmental surveys) and feedback from ongoing landowner engagement.  These drawings on display will be indicative only and subject to change as part of the ongoing design refinement process.

For further information visit www.n24cahirlimerick.ie or contact the project team at [email protected] or telephone (061) 951000.
