Over 400 registered charities in County Tipperary are eligible to apply for the AIB Community Fund. The fund has a total of one million euros to distribute to registered charities in 2025.  The decision on the funding is decided in large part by the public through a nomination system. 6 charities in Munster will receive €20,000 each based on a public vote and 6 Munster based charities will receive €6,000 each based on the votes of bank staff as the bank recognises that many staff volunteer with charities in their community. Funding will also be awarded to charities across the other provinces, Northern Ireland and the UK

Each charity is asked to nominate itself for the Fund and to then encourage it’s supporters to make a nomination which can be done online on the aib.ie website at this link here.  The charities that get the most nominations will be shortlisted and asked to give a simple presentation about how they would use funds if successful. The closing date for the initial nomination and supporting nominations from the public is June 25th and the successful applicants will be revealed in September
