Tipperary Roads Policing Unit Are Being Praised For Intercepting Drivers With No Insurance

Tipperary Garda working in the Tipperary Roads Policing Unit are being praised for intercepting drivers with no insurance or driving license.

The Unit stopped a vehicle while on patrol and established that there was no valid insurance in place. The vehicle was seized and the driver now faces a court date.  Garda observed a driver using a mobile phone while driving and stopped the vehicle. This driver had no driving licence and no insurance on the vehicle. The Car was also seized and the driver now faces a number of road traffic offences in a future court hearing.
