Uisce Éireann working to restore supply to approximately 3,000 properties following a second burst pipe last night on the Galtee Regional Water Supply
The areas imparted include Lisnagaul, Lisvernane, Bansha, Aherlow, Breanshmore, Mount Bruis, Kilross, Shronell, Ardlomen, Lattin, Glenbane, Limerick Junction, Emly, Ballycurrane, Clonpet and surrounding areas
Water services crews are working to repair the burst and restore supply as soon as possible. As this is a complex repair, it is expected that supply will take several hours to return and some areas may not see normal supply coming back until Monday.
Alternative water supplies are in place to support customers in Emly village, Limerick Junction and Lattin village in the meantime.
Customers are reminded to use their own containers when taking water from tankers and to boil water before consumption as a precautionary measure.

Crews are on the ground working to repair it as quickly as possible and restore normal supply. We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.”
