County Tipperary Fleadh Cheoil 2025 Is Ongoing In Clonmel This Week

The 2025 County Tipperary Fleadh Cheoil is ongoing in Clonmel this week. Over Saturday and Sunday there will be a host of competitions in the Gael Coláiste in Clonmel and the organisers are advising that some of the competition times and rooms have been revised. Details have been posted on the Fleadh Cheoil Tiobraid Árann Facebook page. 

The official launch of the Tipperary Fleadh and Awards Ceremony will take place in the Coachman Inn in Clonmel tomorrow, Friday, commencing at 7pm. The evening is open to the public with a great musical offering after the Ceremony is concluded. Five people, four from Clonmel and one from Cashel are being honored with awards in recognition of their service to Irish music and Culture and one young student is being presented with a Gradam na hÉigse award in recognition of their contribution.

While there will be live music on the streets around Clonmel and in many pubs there is also a special free open air concert at the Main Guard on Saturday night. Ruaile Buaile supported by Ceolan will perform from 7p to 10pm sponsored by Tipperary County Council.  The Fleadh is hosted by the Powerstown Lisronagh Branch of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann.
