Uisce Eireann is working to restore the water supply to customers in the Aherlow Area.
The company says it may be 3pm today before the repairs are completed. The water.ie website shows that the work is repairs to a burst water main supplying Aherlow and surrounding areas and that the work began yesterday. Residents that registered for the text alert notification received a message calling the works “unplanned maintenance.”
Water supplies in the area have been disrupted for several days recently with another burst mains pipe repaired on Monday.
