Tipperary County Council is encouraging property owners or occupiers in Bansha to apply for funding under the Bansha Enhancement and Painting Scheme. The funding can be used to pay for painting of buildings, updating signage, removal of clutter such as cabling or old signage and for the addition of flowers.
The scheme is offered to help improve the streetscape and public realm of the village by supporting owners of properties by providing funding for improvements to their premises both commercial and residential buildings. Works to be funded are limited to the frontages of the buildings. The maximum grant available is for 50% of approved works to a maximum amount of €500. The application must be approved before the works begin and before and after photos and receipts are required to claim the grant.
The closing date for receipt of application is 12 noon Friday 27th June, 2025. The application form is available on the council website or from the Council office in Tipperary town.
