Books Of Condolences Will Be In Garda Stations In County Tipperary Following The Death Of Garda Kevin Flatley In Dublin

Garda Kevin Flately(RIP) was a member of the Roads Policing Unit based at Dublin Castle

Garda stations in county Tipperary are providing Books of Condolences for members of the public following the death of Garda Kevin Flatley in Dublin on Sunday afternoon.

Garda Flatley was working on a road speed checkpoint when he was struck by a motorcycle and died at the scene. The motorcyclist also suffered injuries and is being treated in Beaumont Hospital and is described as being in a critical condition.

A Book of Condolence is now open in Tipperary town, Cahir, Nenagh, Thurles and Clonmel Stations for members of the public who wish to extend their sympathies to the family of Garda Kevin Flatley. Garda Flatley, aged 49 and a member of An Garda Siochana since 1998 is survived by his parents Breda and Michael, his wife Úna and children Aoife and Erin.
