Tipperary County Council is due to make a planning decision today regarding Mr Price on the Limerick Road.
The Council previously refused permission for two units of the property to be used for Retail purposes as it is zoned for retail warehouse use.
Corajio trading as Mr Price appealed this decision to An Bord Pleanála and the Council’s decision was upheld.
This led Mr Price to submit a new planning application earlier this year for two units to be granted permission to operate as retail units.
The Company submitted a Retail Impact Assessment report with their Application and highlight that a suitable building cannot be found in the town centre.
There were no submissions made on the planning application from the general public or other retailers in the town.
