The latest figures from the Society of the Irish Motor Industry shows a huge surge in sales of electric vehicles in Co Tipperary.
EV sales in the first four months of 2025 have increased by over 113% compared to the same time last year.
Meanwhile the new car registrations are up over 8% in the Premier County year or year.
Nationally the top 5 selling new car brand so far this year are Toyota, Volkswagen, Skoda, Hyundia and Kia.
