Tipperary Town is set to feature on national television tomorrow night.
Will Fogarty will speak about the sculptures he designed to celebrate two prominent local women which were created using the trucks of the trees.
The sculptures were located behind the old Post Office last summer and depict a member of Cumann Na mBan, the Irish Republican women’s paramilitary organisation that was formed in 1914, and former Cordangan resident Aleen Cust, the first female veterinary surgeon in Ireland and the United Kingdom
The programme Nationwide on RTE ONE will also showcase the town at 7pm tomorrow.
