Uisce Eireann is warning of supply disruptions in West Tipperary today as a mains water pipe is to be repaired near Kilfeacle. The company says the repair works are scheduled from 9am today until 6pm.
The work will affect customers in Thomastown, Kilfeacle, Donaskeagh, Ballinard, Golden, Greenane, Curraghpoor, Dundrum Road, Ballyhurst, Grantstown and surrounding areas. Uisce Eireann says it may take 3 to 4 hours after the expected completion time of 6pm for supply to return to normal.
Customers can register with Uisce Eireann to get text notification of planned and unplanned outages that last more than four hours by entering their Eircode and mobile phone number on the water.ie website. The customer care team telephone number is 1 800 278 278 – this is available on a 24/7 basis.
