Tributes Continue To Be Paid To Leaving Cert Student Following Fatal Road Traffic Collision

Tributes continue to be paid to the victim of Thursday night’s Road Traffic Collision near Kilmoyler. The woman who died in the single vehicle collision near Killardry Bridge has been named as 18 year old Bronagh English from Clonmel. 

Rockwell College describes the 6th year day student “as kind, vibrant and talented and says she will be dearly missed.”  In a post on social media the school asked that people keep the English family and Bronagh’s friends in their prayers.  Moyle Rovers Ladies Football Club, where Bronagh previously played for a short time suspended all Ladies Football activities as a mark of respect. Bronagh’s sister and brothers currently play for the club. The club also offered to help and support the family.

Clonmel Councillor John Fitzgerald, who knew Bronagh, described her loss as “a terrible tragedy”. Describing the teenager was “a beautiful girl, a wonderful person, a really good person”. Many parents from across the country have offered condolences on Rip.ie in sympathy for the family losing their daughter as she travelled home on Thursday night.

Funeral arrangements have been  confirmed.  Bronagh English will lie in repose at her home, Anner Park House, Waterford road Clonmel, today between  2 and 7pm.  Her Funeral Mass will take place tomorrow 12 noon, in St. John the Baptist Church, Powerstown, Clonmel, followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard.

Bronagh English is survived by parents, sister, brothers, extended family and many friends.
