People are encouraged to donate blood at a local clinic this evening.
The clinic takes place at the Cappawhite Community Centre from 4:50pm to 8:10pm.
It’s important to make an appointment by calling 1800 222 111.
The Irish Blood Transfusion Service says there will be no clinics held for fours days over the Easter bank holiday weekend, but demand for blood remains constant.
