Water Leak On Davis Street Tipperary Town Causing Concern Over The Last 48 Hours

A water leak on Davis street, Tipperary town is causing some concern over the last 48 hours. The water is flowing down the street and into an adjacent drain at the junction with Main Street (N24) at the traffic lights.  The water is flowing up through the road surface creating concern for the safety of the road structure itself. The leak has been reported to Uisce Éireann.

In related news, Uisce Éireann are giving notice of repairs to a mains pipe today that will cause supply disruption to Ballinard, near Tipperary town and surrounding areas. The repairs are part of the National Leakage Reduction Programme,

The works are scheduled to take place from 10am until 4pm today. Uisce Éireann says it could be 3-4 hours after the estimated restoration time for supply to fully return.
