Tipperary Racecourse To Hold Four Meetings Over The Coming Weeks

150

Tipperary Racecourse is to hold four meetings over the coming weeks and possibly more.

The track is due to be significantly upgraded with the addition of an all-weather racecourse in addition to the existing turf track.  As construction is not scheduled to commence until later this year the 2025 Racing season will begin on April 24 with a seven race card of flat races. The first race is off at 3.52pm.  In addition there will be three evening meetings on May 8, May 14 and May 27 at the Tipperary Racecourse.

The addition of an all-weather  race track, which will be the second such track in Ireland( Dundalk all weather commenced in 2007) is  expected to be a major support to the racing sector and the venue at the Limerick Junction which will stage 31 meetings per year instead of the normal 11 meetings when the all-weather track is in operation.
