Knockavilla Community Council is to host a Village Spring Clean this evening.
The Council is encouraging people to meet at the Medical Centre at 6.45pm this evening. The group hopes to have enough volunteers to complete a Spring Clean of the village and the approach roads. The National Spring Clean is co-ordinated by An Taisce and 177 groups across the country have registered to hold events this year.Knockavilla community council are asking those willing to help this evening to bring gloves and to wear a hi vis vest. Any person that has a vehicle with safety beacons and/or a tractor and trailer to collect bags of rubbish is asked to contact the Knockavilla Community Council(087 793 4071 ) or to meet at the Medical Centre in the village at 6.45pm this evening.
