The Tipperary GAA Board are reminding supporters that the sale of tickets for the current major fundraising raffle will close on Saturday at 6pm. The raffle will take place on Saturday, 12th April at 8pm.

The funds raised are to support the development of new player facilities in Thurles including development panels and intercountry panels at all ages.  The first prize is new A2 energy rated house in Bregawn, Cashel, a 4-Bedroom, 3-Bathroom, 121m² Semi-Detached home. The winner can opt to take €300,000 instead of the house.

In addition, there are 4 smaller prizes of a trip to Disneyland, a cruise, or a trip to Las Vegas, third prize is a one-week trip to Lanzarote (flights, transfers, 4-star hotel B&B), fourth prize is a trip to see a Liverpool vs. Manchester United Premier League match (flights, accommodation, match ticket) and the 5th prize is a European City Break. Tickets can be purchased online on  the winahouse.ie website.

The County Board currently has 3 pitches at Coolmore Dr Morris Park in Thurles adjacent to Semple Stadium. The plan is to expand the facility to 5 pitches with additional buildings to accommodate player facilities, a restaurant and administrative offices. If land cannot be acquired to expand the facility the Board will seek a new site large enough to accommodate the five pitches and building infrastructure.
