Cashel Fianna Fail Cumann Is To Have New Leadership Following AGM

The Cashel Fianna fail Cumann is to have new leadership following the AGM in Brosnan’s Bar on Monday April 7th.

Outgoing Cumann Chairperson Mattie Finnerty  announced his intention to step down after 30 years in the role.  The election of new officers was chaired by Senator Imelda Goldsboro.

Labhrás Ó Murchú & Mattie Finnerty are to serve as Honorary Presidents, Paudie Taylor become the new Chairperson, Collette Roche will serve as  Vice-Chair, Seán Lonergan as Honorary Secretary – as Eamonn O’Donnell has stepped down as Hon Sec. after 20 years service. Collette Roche & Aodán Wrenn will serve as Joint Treasurers, Paddy Moloney as PRO, Eoin Quirke as Membership Officer, David Sinclair as Youth officer  and Claire Lonergan as Women’s & Equality Officer.

The AGM reflected on the success of  Cllr. Roger Kennedy on his re-election to Tipperary County Council in the June 2024 Local Elections and the appointment of  Senator Imelda Goldsboro to Seanad Éireann.
