Tipperary Town Boxing club is celebrating the club’s success at the Munster under age Boxing Championships Finals over the last fortnight.
The club has secured 8 Munster titles in total and Lauren Long has since won an All-Ireland Title in her age category – Girls 6 or Under 16.
The boxers that won Munster titles over the last two days in Dungarvan will now compete in the National Championships in Dublin in two weeks’ time. The members that are now Munster Champions are Lauren Long, Jonathan Delaney, Niamh McNamara, Katy Harty, Jaden Setters, Katy Hutchinson, David Simaitis and James Delaney.
Club Lead coach Chris Toomey is thanking the members and his assistant coaches Paddy Hutchinson and Daniel Coffey for their contribution to a hugely successful season so far.
Mr Toomey is also thanking sponsors for their support for the Tipperary Boxing Club which is based on Blind Street, Tipperary town.
